北极星密集门诊项目

北极星IOP项目的实习生将培养临床技能，包括诊断评估和对5-12岁具有高度急性精神和情感/行为需求的儿童的强化治疗. Children at this higher level of care (HLOC) require daily therapeutic services. Interns will engage with children on various levels: running daily groups, 促进每周个人会议, 每两周一次的家庭会议. North Star operates as a team dynamic with ongoing professional staff support, and interns will learn and interact with our agency’s psychiatrist/medical director presenting on cases, understanding and generating diagnoses based on clinical assessment/conceptualization. (Both 3-month summer and 6-12 month school year internships available)

• Bachelors and Second Year Master’s level students in Social Work, 心理健康咨询, 或相关领域.

• Must commit to at least 3 months and at least 3 days/week during program hours (School Year: 2-5 pm; Summer: 10 am-1 pm).
